Anushka is an actor and producer from Bollywood. She is the highest-paid actor in Bollywood, and was awarded awards for her performance. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya In Uttar Pradesh, she is the child of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was born to an officer who had retired. The mother of the child is also a housewife. Karnesh Singh, Anushka's brother and film producer served as Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School, Bangalore and is currently pursuing a an undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka possesses a Master in Arts (Economics). Anushka Sharma wanted to be a model or journalist and she did not want to be an actor. Anushka Sharma relocated to Mumbai to study at Elite Model Management and be groomed under the guidance of style consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka started modeling in 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. She was also selected to represent the collection Spring Summer 2007 by Rodricks. In 2008 Anushka Sharma began her acting career with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. To prepare herself for the screening test, Anushka Sharma stayed a full day. She was later contracted to do three films as part of the Yash Raj Films label. She was the wife of a young man of a man who was older in the film (the the same role Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. The year 2010 was the year that Anushka Sharma was in the film 'Badmash Company with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang. The movie received mixed reviews. Anushka was in a movie called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer who played a Punjabi-American girl of middle-class who starts her own wedding-planning company. It was a surprise hit and received good reviews. Anushka had completed her three-film contract with Yash Raj Films.
